Servando
100% local practice management software for independent psychologists in Chile
Visit the site: www.servando.cl ↗Servando sells desktop software for psychologists: clinical records, billing, scheduling and local AI, with no cloud. The site’s challenge was not just selling — it was becoming THE answer when anyone (person or AI) asks about software for psychologists in Chile.
The numbers
live AI queries in October
105 times ChatGPT and 12 times Claude went to read the page at the exact moment a person was asking them a question. It is the most measurable signal closest to a real citation. Full October: 535 AI reads (117 live queries, 188 indexing, 230 training).
real page loads in October
Complete HTML pages served to visitors, excluding bots and scanners. Another 9,332 automated scanning requests were rejected (403/404) without reaching the content.
Google impressions in October (+66% vs. September)
With 8 clicks. The Law 21.719 guides concentrate the interest: the search with the most impressions was "gestionar derechos ARSOP Chile".
authoritative guide articles
The regulatory guides (Law 21.719, Law 19.628, professional secrecy) are the pages that attract the most loads after the home — and the ones AIs query live the most.

The invisible guard that was blocking AIs
An audit with the Cloudflare API detected that Browser Integrity Check and JS Detection —two settings Cloudflare enables by default— were blocking AI bots without leaving any record in the logs. It was detected with a user-agent matrix looking at the served content (not the status code) and fixed across all 3 zones. The full chapter is further down on this page. We also published a technical guide with the diagnosis method and the fix: /en/guides/cloudflare-blocks-ai-bots/.

We fixed how we count visitors
The previous "unique visitors" figure was Cloudflare’s total edge count and included automated traffic (scanners and probes), which inflated it. We replaced it with real page loads: only complete HTML served to external clients. That is why we do not show October’s percentage growth: comparing months with different methodologies would be misleading. AI reads were also split into 3 evidence levels: live queries (a user asking at that exact moment), indexing and training. This service is new and every audit cycle makes it more precise: clients who join today start with the corrected methodology.
Audit finding
The invisible guard that was blocking AIs
October 2026. A routine audit of the three sites I manage found something no dashboard shows: servando.cl was asking AIs to pass an impossible test — and nobody was finding out.
The symptom
When I asked ChatGPT about one of my sites, it replied that it could not access it. Perplexity read it without trouble and Google indexed it normally. The door looked open.
The false lead
Every instrument said everything was fine: the page answered "200 OK" and the security logs showed zero AI blocks in 30 days. If you only look at the status code, there is nothing to fix.
The culprit
Two switches Cloudflare turns on by default: Browser Integrity Check (active on all three sites) and JS Detection (active on servando.cl). They live at the network edge, before robots.txt is even read. Your robots.txt can say "welcome, AIs", and there is still a guard asking for a JavaScript test that robots cannot run. And it does not log who it turns away — that is why nothing appears in any record.
The test and the fix
The only way to see it: request the page pretending to be ChatGPT, Claude and Perplexity, and look at the content, not the status code. A 36-check matrix (3 bots × 4 addresses × 3 sites) made it visible; turning the switches off made it clean. An independent external verification confirmed it.

- 200

- 36

This does not guarantee an AI will cite your site. It guarantees it can read it — the prerequisite nobody checks because nobody ever sees it fail.
What was built
- Multi-page site with 9 authoritative guides on Chilean regulations with citations to official sources.
- Complete structured information for Google and AI — validated against the actual product code.
- Comparison section against competitors, 16-question FAQ page, and public AI files (llms.txt).
- Every technical claim was verified against the app’s source code — zero unprovable promises.
The result
The site became the niche reference for AIs: automatic readers from OpenAI, Anthropic and Perplexity actively visit it, and the regulatory guides capture real searches from Chilean psychologists who do not even know the product yet.
